Trevoh Chalobah followed his brother Nathaniel in representing England, becoming the 21st pair of brothers to play for the England side.
Trevoh Chalobah is expected to link up with the England squad to replace unavailable Crystal Palace centre-back Marc Guehi.
The 26-year-old footballer is scheduled to meet up with the team for England's final World Cup qualifying matches against Albania and Serbia, but it has yet to be confirmed.
The England team have already qualified for next summer's competition.
Chalobah received his maiden selection under England manager Thomas Tuchel in May and then made his debut against Senegal.
In the month of September, Tuchel said Chalobah was unlucky to be omitted from the squad for qualifiers against Serbia and Andorra, and also did not select him for the following October fixtures.
Tuchel has been an significant presence in Chalobah's career, having awarded him his Chelsea first-team bow in the year 2021.
Chalobah has appeared in nearly all matches for Chelsea this season, with the side in third place in the Premier League, in the EFL Cup quarter-finals and in the league phase of the European competition.
Guehi suffered a foot injury in Crystal Palace's Europa Conference League victory over AZ Alkmaar in their last match.
There are expected to be additional inclusions to the squad. Newcastle head coach Eddie Howe has announced that both winger Anthony Gordon (hip injury) and goalkeeper Nick Pope (concussion symptoms) are set to pull out from the England setup.
