Attorney General Discloses Inquiry into Trump Opponents and Epstein Links

On Friday, Pam Bondi appointed Jay Clayton to lead an investigation into political adversaries of Donald Trump and their relationships with the late financier. This action came shortly after Trump instructed her to launch the probe.

In a statement, the Attorney General praised Clayton as “among the nation’s top prosecutors”. The official added, “This case will be addressed with speed and honesty to ensure public transparency.”

This development seems to diverge from a recent memorandum from federal authorities which stated that documents related to Epstein did not warrant further inquiries. As per the document, authorities “found no proof justifying probes into uncharged individuals”

Trump Demands Scrutiny of Democrats in the Epstein Matter

That same day, Trump announced he would ask the DOJ to investigate Epstein’s ties with Democrats, including prominent individuals such as Clinton, Summers, and Hoffman. Interestingly, he also referred to the “Epstein situation” as a “scam”.
